Whenever i have the call to photograph someone my first thought is 'what are they like?'.
Easygoing?, difficult?, or one of the nicest people you could meet.
In this case Steve Williams OBE was the latter, in a two hour shoot on a Sunday morning he not only remained patient while i change the lighting round a few times and made him hold up a large Union Jack but he also made a cup of tea for my assistant and i while we asked inane questions like ''whats it like to win a Gold Medal at the Olympics?''
Verdict-thoroughly nice bloke.
